Our first project is to respond to a question on a Voki. Since this is our first experience, I ask students to tell me one thing about themselves.
Students click on the Voki icon and get a chance to make their own talking Voki avatar to answer my question.
Each student can choose:
*Either a digimon, cat, or dog character
*A background
*Their 'voice'

This project meets the following Michigan Educational Technology Standards
By the end of 8th grade, each student will be able to:
***Apply common software features to enhance communication with an audience and to support creativity
***Identify effective uses of technology to support communication with peers, family, or school personnel
***Discuss issues related to acceptable and responsible use of technology
